About the Euphonium Foundation
The purpose of the The Euphonium Foundation is to promote and enhance the position of the euphonium as a musical instrument by providing more focused exposure through new music commissions, concerts, scholarships, grants, and workshops specifically targeted to further the instrument and inspire players to enhance their skills and goals as musicians.
Earle L. Louder Fellowships to Attend the International Euphonium Tuba Festival
These scholarships are awarded to deserving individuals outside the United States to attend the International Euphonium Tuba Festival. Preference is given to participants both professionals and students that show a clear plan on passing on the information learned to other players in their country. Click on the tab in the menu above for more details, past awards, and commentary of previous participants. You can find more information about the IET Festival at the IET Festival Homepage. Commission of New Music
The Euphonium Foundation has commissioned a large number of works and connects people and composers. By working together to fund projects (called a consortium), it allows groups of dedicated musicians to help create multiple new pieces of music. See examples of our projects.
